Funeral Celebrant In East Yorkshire
I am currently taking a break from funeral celebrancy due to personal grief. I know you will understand that grief is hard, and holding space for others in grief is too tough for me at present. I hope to be back sometime in 2025.
Experienced Funeral Celebrant
As an experienced Funeral Celebrant, I use my skills to listen to your family to help tease out what is right for you at a very difficult time in a family life. Many families have never had to sort out a funeral before and are not sure who does what, what is ‘allowed’ or ‘not allowed’, and what might or might not be appropriate (if it’s right for you it’s appropriate!).
Helping To Take Away The Stress
I help to take the stress out of this situation. I cannot take the hurt away, but I can help to ease that hurt by allowing an open discussion to take place about what would suit your family for the Funeral Ceremony.
The ceremony that we co-create will be part of your memories, so let’s make it right. This can be as traditional or as quirky as you choose.
I work with families to help you say goodbye in a meaningful way, that is right for your family. That might look very different from Uncle Frank’s ceremony that you last went to.
I have hosted ceremonies where the crematorium was full- to-busting and equally one where there were just two sisters in attendance. I am very used to hearing about, and helping, disjointed families!
I also encourage ceremonies in alternative locations, you don’t just have to hold a ceremony in a crematorium.
